PLMA's experience with direct marketing, and the Association's access to industry-wide markets, provides members with a profitable alternative to traditional marketing. Over the years, PLMA has cultivated dependable sources of livestock which assure reliability and integrity in transactions. Affiliation with other National Livestock Producers marketing agencies across the nation, and the Association's own network within our service region, provides the ability to access the right types and numbers of livestock to meet specific needs of our members. Financial Services - Producers Livestock Credit Corporation (PLCC) is an affiliated financial services cooperative and a key element of Producers' family of services. For over 75 years, PLCC has served the financial needs of producers and feeders with loans for livestock, machinery, equipment, facilities, feed and production loans. PLCC specializes in short and intermediate term credit for agricultural production. It routinely works with local banks and other financial institutions to develop coordinated financial programs beneficial to our members. Contract Feeding - Producers' contract feeding programs enable you the operator to fully utilize feed stocks and get the most efficient use of facilities. PLCC's contract feeding programs can help feeders increase their ability to generate additional income using existing, or under utilized assets. Producers' livestock specialists provide professional assistance in buying, selling and risk management. Contract feeding programs can be easily coordinated with the feeders' local lender, or other financial institutions. Commercial Feedlot Feeding - Producers' commercial feedlot feeding program eliminates tying up your finances. This contract will enable you to utilize the futures market as an effective pricing and risk management tool.
